RALPH GOEHRING, CEO & President

Ralph is an experienced financial executive with success in building high-quality financial teams in both the public company and private company environments. He was the chief financial officer of Berry Petroleum Company (NYSE:BRY) for over 16 years and contributed to the company’s growth from less than $200 million in market capitalization to over $2 billion (from less than $50 million in annual revenues to over $500 million in annual revenues). He managed all financial functions of the company including SEC reporting, banking relationships, investor relations, tax planning, risk management programs, strategic planning, acquisition integration, Audit Committee issues and financial communication to the Board of Directors. He focuses on achieving high levels of performance and promotes high ethical standards in business dealings.

Ralph embraces the entrepreneurial spirit and understands the drive, patience and persistence that is necessary to achieve success for a new business venture or start-up. SandDollar is uniquely designed to be a partner in building these hard-driving entrepreneurial companies.

Ralph started his career with Arthur Andersen & Company developing his expertise in tax management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a finance emphasis from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a Certified Public Accountant (California 1983, currently inactive) and served on the Board of the Independent Petroleum Association of America from 2005 to 2013 and on the Board of a Canadian junior uranium mining company until its merger in 2013.

Ralph has served on the executive board of the Southern Sierra Council of the Boy Scouts of America since 2003 and is a past president. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Scott is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status) with more than 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry. He has served in various roles from financial accountant to controller for several oil and gas companies, including Berry Petroleum where he directly supervised four accounting managers and an accounting staff of 20 people.

Scott is a strong team leader and understands the importance of delivering high-quality financial statements on a timely basis. He is an excellent communicator and very proficient and knowledgeable in the oil and gas accounting process, joint interest accounting, accounting systems and various software packages. Scott is dedicated to meeting clients’ expectations and commitments.

Scott spent his first 15 years in the industry with Texaco in Denver, Bakersfield and Angola, Africa. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado at Denver.



SCOTT PARDUE, Accounting Manager

Scott has more than 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry having served as a senior production tax accountant for Berry Petroleum Company and most recently as a property tax consultant for another industry firm. He has extensive experience calculating, preparing and filing production tax returns and billing royalty owners their portion of taxes. While at Berry Petroleum, Scott was responsible for production taxes in several states (Utah, Colorado, Texas and California) and handled several agency audits that yielded positive outcomes for his employer.

Scott is very detail oriented and is effective in working with clients and regulatory agencies. He strives to find more efficient ways of performing tasks and is very knowledgeable in various accounting and tax software systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a finance emphasis from California State University Bakersfield and is currently earning his MBA.



AUDRA GUINN, Accounting Specialist

AUDRA GUINN, Accounting Specialist

Audra has over five years of experience in providing A/P input into various oil and gas accounting systems and is proficient in account reconciliations, regulatory production input and filings. She is detail-oriented and driven to verify that transactions are properly coded and internal processes are completed timely.

She also has human resource and office management experience and is a licensed California Notary Public to assist in transaction recordings.
